Kejie new module steel weighbridge (truck scale) adopts completely new design concept, which not only accomplishes the real modularization, but also solve the problem of poor container space utility existing in traditional exported weighbridges. We can put weighbridge quantity two times as great as the traditional structure.

Characteristics are given as follows:

1). New modularization design, outstanding exchangeability: 8 u-shape beams (6mm thickness) are applied, the maximum axle load of vehicle is 40t. There are only three modules in different sizes and purposes: weighing-bar module, short weighbridge modules and long weighbridge modules. With these kinds of modules we can group different sizes of weighbridges: 3x8, 10, 12, 14, 16, 18, 20, 22, 24m.

2). We can put more pieces of weighbridge (truck scale) into a 20ft container. For example, we can ship two pieces of 18x3m (in 3 sections) into a 20ft container. The full use of container space is to the utmost.

3). The safe load of the weighbridge (truck scale) is over 150%FS. No permanent distortion of weighbridge occurs during its high frequency using.

4). All the material is processed by sand blasting, CO2 protection and union melt welding, or automatic welding, which ensures enough weld depth. The surface after welding is smooth, and exist no air hole, slag, and cranny. All the manufacturing procedures completely comply with GB50205-95 “Standard for Work and Acceptance of Steel Structure Project”.

5). The material of weighbridge (truck scale) is high quality hot rolling steel plate. The chemical composition and mechanical property of the steel plates comply with the GB700-88 “Technical Specifications of Common Carbon Constructional Steel”. All our steel plates are pre-processed by rust-removal, sandblast. The oxide skin, rust, and slag on steel plate are removed. After that, the first coat of epoxy paint will be processed on the plates, and another layer of the same paint will be done after the inspection of the whole weighbridge. The last two finishing layer paint is acrylic polyurethane coating (marine paint). No or only one chromatism exists in one coat, and the coat is thick. The paint of weighbridge is wearable, anti-corrosion, resistant to press, acid, and alkali. (Color of paint is optional as per customer’s request)

6). The design of weighbridge (truck scale) foundation complies with GB50057-94 “Standard of Building Lightening-proof Design” and GB64-83 “Specifications of Over-voltage Protection Design of Industrial and Civilian Power Installation”. This foundation has good earth network, whose earth resistance is less than 4Ω. The weighbridge is connected with earth network via special earth wires. The weighing indicator has unique earth.

7). The routing of load cell cables is reasonable, which effectively avoids the weighing error caused by the load cell cable breakages. Meanwhile, this routing can prevent man-made cheating via load cell cable.

8). To ensure weighbridge (truck scales) rigidity, all the products have to be tested strictly before leaving factory. The welding lines of main components are all processed by supersonic inspection to ensure the welding quality. Besides, before launched, all the weighbridges (truck scales) have to pass the fatigue test and overload test (≥100,000times).
